Ad Share Revenue Manual
Installation Instructions:
1. Download the zip folder for Ad Share Revenue.
2. Extract with Winzip, or 7zip.
3. Once extracted, place files in your ftp server accordingly.
4. Upload AdShare Revenue.xml to Admincp > Plugins and Products > Manage Plugins
Rember to enable global enable after installing product. You may configure what type of banners your users can use, from Google Adsense, to image banners, and flash banners. These are all enabled via admincp > options.
If you choose ad position, “Inside first post” you need to add a line of code in postbit or postbit legacy. See text file included in zip folder.
The max image widths and heights will control the maximum width and maximum height that users can display ads. This is in place to control the looks of your site. You wouldn’t want a vertical banner in a horizontal slot. If their size exeeds your limits, they will get recieve an error message on their side.
A 50/50 share would display the site banner as often as the user banner. A 25/75 share would display the user banner 3 times as often as the site banner and so on…Note that the probability is generated randomly with a fair weighted generator.
If the user didn’t set up an advertising banner, the site banner gets displayed 100%
